Thankful Thursday & Project Real Life Winner

Ever since Jenny did a gratitude link up I've wanted to dedicate a post to being thankful on a consistent basis. As I was reading my blogs this morning, I came across this link up, Thankful Heart Thursdays, and thought what better way to get myself in gear than today, so thank you, Sara for leading the way.

So here is the deal for me it may not be every Thursday.... I'm going to strive to do at least one Thursday a month, possibly more.... I'm always grateful...and beyond thankful... it's just a matter of trying to figure out the hours of when I can type it on the blog.... between 2 or 3 am or after I've put the girls on the bus to school. But I will do it!!!!

In my gratitude posts I want to strive to focus on the things I'm thankful for in my life. It might be the little things.... small things that might seem ridiculous to you, but make my life more simple.... or it might be something big and life changing.... it might be something from the past that has had an impact on my life or it may be something I thankful for in the present.

Today I'm thankful my renewed relationship with my sister Sara. We recently went through a rough patch in our relationship and I can honestly say it was one of the hardest and loneliest times without her. We have always been close, in fact we were raised like twins, so the separation was hard. Now that our relationship is on the mend I value our it even more. I'm so thankful for her and the memories of our childhood that we share, the struggles that we went through together, and now that we have each other to lean on for support. I love that our daughters will get to grow up as friends. I'm thankful that we have another sister who loves as much and was willing to do anything to see our relationship restored.

I'm linking up at the Simple Moms today, so click over there to read more thankful thursday stories!

The winner of the Becky Higgins' Big Picture Project Real Life Class is Angie, with her comment below. Please email me at maryann@cherisheveryday.com and I will get the prize information to you. Thank you to everyone for entering.
