One Year Later

Today marks the anniversary of my foster brother's death. One year today without him and my heart still aches. I miss his laughter, his goofy smile, and our random conversations that had to do with nothing, but that were so important to us. He is missed by so many; in the twenty-five years that he was alive he made a significant impact in the lives of others. Clint I will always remember the impact you made in our lives. Rest in peace little brother I love
you and miss you.

  2. I lost a sister at the age of 53 and that's been 12 years ago and it still hurts. I wrote about defining moments in life and my thoughts about her here: http://waldenbunch.blogspot.com/2012/04/defining-moments.html
I also have 3 adopted kids and 2 bio kids and our journey through the foster/adopt system has been heartbreaking yet fulfilling and God ordained. Have you written your story on your blog? I didn't know if you were adopted or your family did foster care or what. Sharing my story and my children's story has become a passion of mine. I do it through my blog AND through Project Life. Have a great day!
