End of School Year Teacher Appreciation

Yesterday was the last day of school for my girls and I just wanted to share the teacher appreciation gifts that we made for their teachers. I believe that I saw the idea on pinterest..... and I loved it.

We live in the heat of Arizona and it's not unusual for the temperature to reach 120 degrees plus in the summer months. So to beat the heat....we go into survival mode (ha ha) and spend our days in the pool..... so I thought these would be the "perfect" gift.
A quick trip to Target or Walmart to pick up the following things: magazines (I purchased Oprah magazines), beach towels, small bottles of sunscreens, and ribbon. I used my Project Life journaling cards as gift tags and they added the perfect touch that brought the look all together.
If your budget allows you could also add a gift card to a book store for reading material of your teacher's choice. And you could dress it up even more by putting it in a little beach bag..... the possibilities are endless....

  2. What a great gift idea, definitely going to save this to my favorites for next year since today was our last day and homemade cards were accompanied by gift cards for the teachers.
