Project Life 2010 Finale

Here it is.... the final video of the last album in my Project Life 2010 series. Project Life has been such an amazing blessing in my life. It has helped me see the beauty in the everyday.... the little moments, the big moments and the stuff in between. Words cannot express the impact that this project has had in my life....and I am so grateful for it! I hope this inspires you to incorporate Project Life into your everyday.

  1. Hi Mary Ann, I LOVE your albums!! You are a major reason I decided to do PL this year! I am wondering where you got that sticky photo protector that flipped up and the other fold out one that you had at the end of your family's Christmas cards. Would you mind sharing that information? Thanks bunches!!

  3. Oh my! What a treasure this is and will be for your family and descendants! I just love the way you did it!! Can you tell me who makes the fold out page protector? I LOVE that!! That would be the perfect compliment to some of my PL pages. I'm brand new to Project Life this year and I'm so looking forward to making it my own! Thanks for the great inspiration and ideas!!

  8. LOVE your ALBUM!!! Got some great ideas from watching your video. 2010 was the first year I did PL. In the December part of your album, you had one day that there was a "sticky flap" that held a photo OVER another photo. Did you make that? Where did you get it or the idea from? Those would be GREAT to have!

  10. I was so inspired by your album when Becky Higgins featured your video on her blog, that I decided to change the way I scrapbook & ordered 3 Project Life kits when they came out! :) And now, I am inspired once again!!!! Your album is amazing! I am off to order some more page protectors. I would love to know where you got the fold-out page protector. I just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us! :)

  12. Oh, how I love this! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love that you made PL become your complete album for the year. This inspires me and gives me the knowledge that I'm going to love the way it turns out. You are awesome!!!

SO, one question... where did you find the sticky flaps that flip up for additional pictures? I found some from CTMH but they are sticky on the 4 inch side not the 6 inch side. I'd prefer sticky on the 6 inch side. Please share your source if you remember!

    Thank you so much!

PS - it will only allow me to comment with my google account. My real blog is www.achallphoto.com/365 I think the google will link you to a dead old blog of mine. Thanks.

  13. Hey there!
Do you only do the Project Life now or do you create other scrapbooks also during the year? I'm having a hard time....not sure if I only want to do this and add things in as you did in this video, or create other albums as well. Any suggestions? Does your entire year fit in 1 album???

    Thanks for sharing yours!!!

  14. Great Job! I was wondering though when you reference the stitching...Is there an online tutorial to explain how to do that? I so badly need to finish my project life's from the past 2 years and have included some 8x10 and 6x12 but I love how to created the other sizes too!
    Thanks so much for sharing!

  18. Hi! I absolutely loved every inch of that! Thanks so much for showing it. So is this only ONE of several albums of PL you did for 2010? Or is he entire year in one album?

  19. Hey! Loved seeing what you've put together!! I know some of those shots must be professionally done, but did you take most of them??

  20. Thank you for sharing! Your album is gorgeous. This is my first year doing PL....couple of questions: where do you print your collage prints? Also, what is the 'sticky' stuff you were showing to add in additional pictures?

  25. I love your album. This is my first year doing it and it really helps to see how you have personalized it. I think my one question is how you manage your time? How long does it take to put together your special collage type pages? I have 2 young girls too and I'm completely drained at the end of the day. :-) right now, I'm lucky to just get my pics printed and in the album. Thanks!

  33. Wow, thank you for sharing your PL album! I just started this year and have been having a great time with it, but your album has inspired me to include much more than just a daily photo- love the way you incorporated movie stubs, letters, Christmas cards, playbills, enlarged photos, photo collages, various sized page protectors, additional layouts, etc. I saw the link to your video on Ali Edwards' blog and am so glad she posted it and so glad that you are sharing something so personal to all of us!

  34. You are so inspiring! I love all of your additions to the album. Do you add pictures daily or how do you manage to keep up with the album? I bought last years kit and fizzed out in March. I just started over January 1 and am using 2010 for 2011.

  39. consider me inspired! i ordered 2 kits, one of each for this year and last, but the more i'm thinking about it, there's no way everything will fit in one. so you helped me to solve that! buy more albums! much like you, i've got two small children and a full, blessed life. thank you for sharing!

another question... do you keep albums for your children in addition to the PL? are those traditional scrapbooks? do you do books for each year? would love to hear your thoughts and process on that.

  40. Absolutely gorgeous and super inspiring. I am loving working on it everyday. Just added my morning walk on Kailua Beach with my BFF. I printed a collage and scenic 8x10 for my album. I sent your video to inspire my friends and family. My daughter in law is taking weekly pictures of my grandson to include. My daughter commented on how much she loves your handwriting! Will be looking forward to read your posts! Aloha from Hawaii!

  41. Hi Mary Ann,
Love this video so much, and what you've done to alter the basic kit. I'm totally doing my 2011 with some added things. I have the same questions as all the other gals here, about the page protectors and where you find them. We're all anxiously awaiting your reply! lol.

  42. THAT IS AMAZING! I am so inspired. Wow. I have so many questions....but I will stick to the ones already asked...where to get the fold out and sticky page protectors?!?!

  43. Ladies thank you so much for all of your sweet comments! They have really touched me and hold a special place in my heart! I was really sick this past week...a sick...that I haven't been in a very long time...so it really gave me the extra little hug that I needed to get me through a rough patch...so thank you all!! I want to let you know that the sticky page protectors and the flip out page protectors are some old school page protectors. I've made some calls and emails to try to locate them and will let everyone know as soon as I have any information. My local scrapbook store has been trying to call their distributors to order them & will let me know as soon as they have them. They said people can call and order them from the store and they will just have to pay shipping. As soon as I have more info I will let you know until then look forward to 2011 Project Life!!

  44. This is so amazing!! I can't remember if I left a comment before or not but was wondering if you could share what templates you use from Cathy Z and Ali E and Crystal W. There are so many to choose from and I'm simply lost. You have included some really cool ones in here!
    Thank you.

  45. Hi MaryAnn,
I watched these videos back when you first did them, but I was watching them again as I find them so inspirational and motivating!! This video comes up as private and can't be viewed. I was wondering if this was a mistake, if you've changed it to be private I apologise for being nosey!!
    Thanks

  46. Dear Maryann,
I´m sorry, it´s me again. Hope i´m not getting on your nerves... Instead of posting again, i would have loved to write an email to you, but i don´t know your adress. But i just thought that maybe you want your third PL-Video to be on a private status.... i didn´t want to ask with importunity to see it... I just wanted to let you know that. But i was so overwhelmed seeing that you already put the final 2010 album online in January already, that i would have loved to see it so very much. I´m just SO into your albums, you´re so creative and such a good photographer - i really love everything about your albums!
So please don´t mind posting me again and again... :) just wanted to say sorry for asking to watch a video that you put on a private status.... But i was so excited after seeing that post and after reading all those gorgeous comments, that i just asked.
Take care! Best wishes to you and your beautiful family!!!
    Greetings from Germany :)
PS. Hope my english is ok...
